My deepest condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of being a student of Mr. Gapske's at Albion High School. He was a great teacher, one who treated all of his students with kindness and respect. He was certainly one of the best. May you all find comfort in knowing that he was well liked by the students of Albion. My prayers of comfort remain for you all.

He was my first teacher on my quest to become a computer operator/network engineer...Everyone had to take typing to enter the Computer Program at Albion High School...Great Teacher!

Mr. Gapske was my teacher in high school. I learned so much from him. Not just typing but how to balance a checkbook, write a check, and how to write letters. He gave us life skills. My deepest condolences to the family. I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to have been his student.

Mr. Gapske was one of my favorite teachers. He taught me to type and that skill gave me steady work for most of my working life. He made the learning process fun and challenging. He was always available to answer questions and explain things. I really enjoyed him . I'm sorry for your loss.KPi

Mr. Gapske was one of my more memorable high school teachers. He taught most of my business classes and left me with many pleasant memories of him and his classes. My sincerest condolences to the Gapske family.

Barb and Norm were good friends with my parents Andy and Edith Kooi. Dad and Norm taught Night School and worked on other things together. He will be sadly missed. He was a well respected educator in Albion.

Mr. Gapske, was an a fixture throughout our High School years. He oversaw co-op and ran the school bookstore. That is where I first experienced working, scheduling, ordering and bookkeeping. Yet, the most valuable thing I learned was a strong work ethic; which has silently guided me throughout my life to this day. I appreciate that he believed in the students and gave of himself for us. Paul and I have fond memories. We are so sorry for your great loss.
