I met your Dad at Muskegon Rotary and sat at the same table every week. What a joy it was to be in his company. Always joyful, ready with a joke and gracious.

I worked at the pro shop at MCC for 10 years and your dad was of course one of my all time favorite people! I'm sure this comes as no surprise, but I know you can never hear enough good things about your dad at this time. He always remembered me whenever I ran into him, and later he joined the Omni where I also worked and it was so good to see him on a regular basis again. How lucky you were to have him for so long.

I was always happy to see the smiling face of the Colonel and hear his amazing stories and commentary on life at Hahn's Pharmacy.

Todd, I am so very sorry for your loss. Your dad was on in a million. I don't remember a time in my life that I didn't know him. His smile, quick wit, and love for life was infectious.

Fond memories of our colleague and friend. Colonel was a great member of our dental society. His laugh entered the room before he did! We donated $50 to the Community Dental Endowment Fund of the Community Foundation for Muskegon County in memory of Colonel.

My husband and I met Colonel many years ago. We often saw him at various restaurants around Muskegon. He was always a gentleman and if anyone had that joie de Vivre, it was Colonel. He was a real treasure and he will be missed!
We send our sympathy to his family.
Sincerely, John & Kay Bernard
