My heart aches deeply for Jakes parents brother family close friends and especially for Marissa. There are no words to express this sadness and tragic loss. He will be missed by every life he touched. Our family have fond memories spending Christmas with he and Marissa he lights up a room with his smile. So very sorry for your loss.

Since high school we had been getting together as friends and seeing the new Star Wars and catching up, for most of them, the topic of conversation was settled around nonsensical mischief, or that thing that happened on the soccer field or whatever was happening at college or the new job. I am so thankful for this last December and the major brag session we were able to have about our children. It struck me as such a funny, beautiful

One of the few but memorable times I saw Jake was during the Richland 4th of July parade. He was representing the Village as a Board member, riding in a convertible. He and Marissa had 3 jobs: Wave. Smile. And most importantly, throw out candy.

I was behind them, representing the Library, so I got to see this happy pair the entire parade route.

I am writing on behalf of all the Brinkerhoffs Peg and Jeff. Sending you, Marissa and your family our love from CA.

I only knew Jake's name from hearing Jeff talk about his sons at Pfizer. Jeff was my trainer. So sorry to hear this tragic news. Prayers for Jeff, Peggy and the family. I can't imagine losing a child. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I cannot even express the sadness I feel for your entire family and especially for M. Our hearts are broken. Jake had the best smile, amazing blue eye and such a wonderful personality, he was the best coach and mentor to our daughter and she considered him her Dad also. Our entire family loved him to pieces and we love M like she is our own and will be there for anything and everything that she needs. I am so sorry for you loss he is a person who will be deeply missed.
With Love,
The Eldred Family
