Memories & Candles
I have known David and his brother Gary for many more years than I can remember. We shared many meals, many Holidays, going off to gamble in Nevada and phone calls. David never cared to use a computer but it was more fun talking directly to him. He could drive anyone to laughter and craziness with his needing to have details on what every bit of food's ingredients he was about to consume! I always felt sorry for the waiters.

Our condolences to Dave's family. We moved across the street from him seven years ago and he was one of our favorite neighbors. He was the nicest man and we will really miss him. Dr. Richard and Raleen Tullis

My sincere condolences to the Bowne family in this time of sorrow. Dave was always friendly to everyone. Just before he entered the military, he was keen on my purchasing his beloved Chevy, but I couldn't swing it. I can remember wasting an entire Saturday afternoon sitting on the Bowne front steps watching Dave wash and wax that Chevy. He was never bothered by a younger kid hanging around, and even let me help from time to time. My memories of him are all pleasant, and I will miss him.
William Schaeffer.
