Marybeth was my best friend from high school. We were in marching and concert band together. We had classes together. At the end of our senior year, Marybeth was selected as the outstanding girl citizen of our class. I received the boy counterpart. I can remembering how we laughed because our language was always so salty when we talked to each other. Little did the American Legion know1
We visited each other in college. I saw her at Central Michigan and

I worked with MB at Borgess and WMCC. She was the clue for the department and a great friend. Loved her kids her work and she always gave every project her all.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Marybeth's passing. We were colleagues years ago at the West Michigan Cancer Center. Marybeth was in the office next door to mine, and she was always ready with welcoming smiles and help with whatever I needed. She was generous and warm and deeply caring. She will be sorely missed.

I was saddened to hear of Marybeth's passing.

We didn't see each other often, but when we were together, we always laughed a lot. She was fun to be with and was always positive no matter what. She will be greatly missed.

I worked side by side with Marybeth at the Kalamazoo Gazette beginning in July of 1976. We had the best times together at work and outside of work. We laughed a lot, we cried, we were rowdy, we loved going out to eat and just enjoyed being very good friends together. I will always love and miss her.

My very best to Leeann and Brian. Take care.

I was so shocked to hear of Mary Beth's passing. MB and I worked together for many years, first at Borgess in the 1980's and then transitioning to WMCC. MB was a joy to know. She was loved and respected by all who knew her and she was a hard worker and dedicated employee. We shared many good times at work and outside of work. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, friends and coworkers. She touched everyone's heart and she had a big heart to share. God bless you MB!

When I think of MB, I think of kindness, laughter, spirit, love, strength, friendship, family, trustworthy, smiles and endurance. She can light up a room with her smile and laugh. She instantly would bring you warmth in your heart when you see her. She could change your bad day to a good one. I will always remember this about MB. Bless you!

I first met Mary Beth when we were assigned as roommates in Barnes Hall as new Freshmen at Central Michigan University. It was a good match, and the beginning of a friendship that has spanned more than fifty years. We cheered each other on through all of our adult milestones, participated in each others weddings, and continued to meet for "gab fests" throughout the years. She was wise, kind, caring, funny, and the best friend that anyone could have. I will miss her very much.

I met Mary Beth, several years ago...and again, when I became a patient at West Michigan Cancer Center...She ALWAYS had a smile, and an encouraging word...She was a wonderful person, and a tremendous asset for W.M.C.C. I am so sorry to hear of her passing.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mary Beth's passing. I was privileged to work with her at WMCC and found her to be the most unassuming, caring, warm and generous person. I hold many fond memories of her, such a special and unique lady. She is dearly missed.
