I'm so sorry to hear of Donna's passing. I have many great memories of crossing the street, cutting through the Reeds' yard, and into Donna and Phil's backyard for a visit. My mom played volleyball with her. She was delightful. ❤

Red lipstick, great cook (giant peach pies), the energy and enthusiasm to put any younger person to shame. Funniest story: She shared the problems of having to use leg make-up during WW2 because there were no nylons. During one date it started to rain and the makeup started to run! No kidding, I think of this every time I try self-tanner.
Rest energetically, Aunt Donna. I hope there is a volleyball court with your name on it in heaven.
Love you, Val

I had the opportunity to meet your Mom several times at different times in Battle Creek. She was a lovely lady. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family

Dear Family Donna was a funny lady. I loved to talk to her. We sometimes got so loud at Evergreen The staff would come to my Mom and Donna's Room to see what was wrong. We would laugh so hard. She and my Mom would look after one another. And don't forget the birds. Donna would say open the curtains I need to see the birds. And Baseball she loved the Tigers. .She would say when is the game.
