Memories & Candles
We just learned of Jerry's passing and are so very sorry for your loss. We will miss seeing his smiling face at church. We will always be so grateful for his devotion to Troop 325 and all he taught our boys. His music was always a special gift, too. We're sure he will be part of God's choir in heaven. Our prayers are with you all!

Paul and I just heard about Jerry. Jerry was always so kind to us. He was such a devoted family man and friend. Paul considers himself very lucky to have worked with Jerry in Scouts. Please know that all of you are in our thought and prayers. We are better people because of our friendship with Jerry. May he rest in peace.

Marie...I am so sorry to hear about your Jerry. I always thought he was such a kind and good person and was glad to have met him. It was even better when I found out he was married to you! You two had something special for sure and it was apparent to all how well he loved you and your boys. Sending healing thoughts and prayers to you all.

Bob - very sorry to hear of the passing of your father. My sincerest condolences and prayers to you and your family during this sad time.
No doubt your dad was a helluva man, husband, dad, Catholic, mentor, friend, and many others. He was a great American and truly left his mark in so many ways. Not many of us can come close.
I was glad to have met him. In talking to him and reading his story, not hard to see

I was a lot younger than Jerry [and Harry and their sister] but my folks were friends of the family and Nellie and Clarence were great examples in our young lives. I was still in elementary, and my older [Stuck] sister and brothers were closer in age, but I wasn't too young to notice how Jerry's dazzling smile melted all the hearts of everyone around him. He could've been a movie idol; he sure turned heads. I got to know

Jerry (and sons) offered to build a deck on our cabin on the Betsie River several decades ago. The deck is still standing and serving us well.
We enjoyed Marie and Jerry's friendship for over twenty-five years and always commented about the closeness of their family and Jerry's devotion to his boys. He has left a legacy of love, hard work, and compassion for every one of us who knew him.
