Very sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was the First Sergeant of the Civil Engineer Squadron when I arrived in 2000. His office was right across the hall from mine and we had many great conversations. He was always calm and cool no matter the situation and always had great advice to offer. Condolences to the family on your loss.

I am so saddened to hear this news!! Larry was such a kind man! I cherish all the conversations we have had over the years and his kindness giving my daughter flowers picked from the yard on our walks. Many prayers!! Love Missy & Bill.

I have no words! Tragic! Wise beyond his years, as kids we grew up together and laughed together! Sorry for the family , Suzy,Dan, and Bruce. Your Big brother was awesome and worried about you all so much when we were young! He taught my son to drive a stick shift and shoot a pistol. But most of all I will remember his loyalty, his GIANT heart and all the laughs always the laughs!!!

What i will remember about Larry is the calming sense he carried always with him and his kindness and desire to help if you needed anything. He was soft spoken but deep about his loyalities and principles he lived by.He never missed an opportunity to thank a veteran for his service to our country. He loved Joey and to make her happy....made him happy. I will miss you and I am glad our paths crossed on this journey...RIP

Sorry and shocked to hear of Larry"s passing, I knew Larry from the time he enlisted in the Michigan Air National Guard as a mentor and friend. He replaced me as 1st Sgt of the CE Sqd. and stayed in touch for many years after I retired, our conversations about old times together and current issues will truly be missed. My condolences go out to Larry's wife and family.
