Aunt Carolyn I loved having you in my life and I will dearly miss having you in it. But I know you are in a much better place with our lord who called you home. We will do our best to take care of uncle Rick. Just like you would want us to. I love you

Carolyn is my baby sister. She was born on Christmas Eve.when I was 10. Our Aunt Rachel woke me up to tell me Santa had brought me a baby sister as a Christmas Gift. I will always remember and cherish Christmas at Carolyn and Rick's. My family was always made to feel part of your family. We enjoyed all the games we played, especially Carolyn's favorite "who spotted the first dear siting out the back window" with a surprise for the winner. Plus we had the bonus of sharing Carolyn's Christmas Eve birthday each time as well. We love you and miss you Carolyn. Rick. We pray for your comfort and God's grace upon you always. Love you.

The first time we met was when our husbands and Jim Zoss trained for the Southwest Michigan Search and Rescue team. We had lots of lonely nights because they were taking classes. I remember your house on LaVista and your love for landscaping, which you have an innate talent for; your record collection and love of Bob Seger; the medieval festivals that we went to, the antique flea markets, the civil war re-enactments. The times our husbands worked the Balloon

I had the opportunity to attend some classes with Carol. She had a beautiful smile and a sunny disposition. I can't imagine the heartache that you feel at this time. Prayers for peace, comfort, and healing to all of you who loved and cared about her.
