Jack was a big guy and even at a young age he displayed a big heart. It was a pleasure to have ' bumped shoulders ' with him. Sympathy and respect to Sue and family. Doug - school and teammate

Very sad to learn Jack lost his stoic battle with cancer. He was one of a kind and will certainly be missed by his friends and family. I remember conversations in passing when we were both working at Kellogg Company headquarters. We talked about the current state of affairs at Kellogg's and how many more years to retirement. His retirement was cut way too short. I can still hear his deep voice and the way he chuckled with amusement. I

Jack was just one of those people who inspired and encouraged others.
He ws a great support to Canada and the last time we spoke he told me to just hang in there and things would work out.
I hung in there and things worked out.
My heart is with you all and I will celebrate him and all the great things he did while he was here.

Sue and Family,
I was so sorry and sad to learn of Jack's passing. He was a great guy and good friend to so many. He always had a smile and was easy and fun to be with. The class of 73 has lost one of the best. I know we will meet again.
Barb and I send our most heart felt condolences to you and your family. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

So very sorry to hear of Jack's passing. Like so many others, Jack was a mentor and friend both at work and within the church at Pennfield Presbyterian.

One of my favorite memories of Jack is sitting in his office and debating if the best Battle Creek Central Football team of all time, could beat the best Pennfield Football team of all time. :)

He will be greatly missed by all and we are all better people in this world for having him in our lives and knowing him. Until we meet again my friend...
