Judith Ann "Judy" Palmer Obituary

Judith Ann (Colwell) Palmer passed away peacefully at Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence Sunday evening November 28, 2021. Judi was born the youngest of three children to William and Danine (Francisco) Colwell on April 4, 1964.

Judi had many lifelong neighborhood friends as a child, one in particular, she found a new connection with as an adult. Judi married the love of her life Jeffrey J. Palmer on January 19, 1991. Jeff and Judi had two children, Jennifer Marie Palmer and Jaquelin Diane Palmer. Jaquelin passed away tragically months after birth due to complications of premature birth.

Judith with her big heart and kind soul had so much love to give, so much so that she considered many to be her family. Leneah (King) Moorse and her daughters, Hayley Moorse and Payton Budreau whom she considered her bonus daughter and granddaughters. Dear friends Cindi White Brown, Lila Spears, and Teresa Alday whom she considered sisters.

Judith was an avid artist, creating many unique pieces for the people she loved. She found art to be something she could share with her family, often crafting with her daughters, friends, and granddaughters.

Judith was preceded in death by her adoring father William, her beloved dog Audry, her youngest daughter Jaquelin, and loving brother Thomas. She is survived by her husband Jeff, daughter Jennifer, granddaughter Zoey, mother Danine, sister Ruth, and nieces and nephews: Rob, Ron, Rebecca, Nicole, Natalie, Lilly, Noella, Erin, and countless great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church on Wednesday December 8, 2021, at 1pm, for all who wish to attend and celebrate the life of Judith.
