Alfonso and I met in Green Meadow Elementary in the first grade. We got separated through Middle School and then once again ended up in high school together at Portage Community High. He was one of my closest friends. He always knew how to make me feel better, he knew how to make anyone feel better I should say. He was absolutely one of the best people I knew! And my heart shattered into pieces when I heard the news! I never personally got a chance to meet his family, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers. The world will never be the same without him but heaven has one extremely amazing angel now watching over all of you! So remember that!

To all of Alfonso families May God be with you all in your time of need and after. The loss of a child no matter what age is very sad but we cannot question the reason why. With God we accept what he has chosen even if we do not understand why. With my Deepest Sympathy

Poncho and family,
Ed and I are stunned and devastated for your loss. Chito's faith in God and passion for life shined through every day and made our day. His kindness came from within, a rare quality to possess. We always looked forward to seeing you and Chito as our frequent customers at Home Depot. Chito was and still is an inspiration for us to keep God at the center and family a close second and that work is a blessing. As parents we often would comment on how fortunate we would be if our children grew up to be as faithful and peaceful and as devoted to Christ as Chito. When I read your post about how Gods love is perfect even in your pain, I recalled Ephesians 3:15-21. Thank you again for your inspiration during an unimaginable time of struggle. May God bring peace and comfort to you and your family.
