We are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was always kind and friendly whenever I would see him. My husband, Greg Erickson, knew him from the real estate business and golfing at Riverside and said he was a "good guy". My parents, Jerry and Dorothy Keagle knew him from the St. Phil group. Thinking of you and your family at this time and sending prayers.

He was the Dearest Uncle a young woman could of had the Pleasure of calling him Uncle David he spoke so fondly of his adult children. And I took him Communion every Sunday and he was so happy to receive! I am honored to of had him in my life. And the saints and his best friend Mr Brutche were waiting for him! Jesus has a new Angel and I am so proud to of been his niece.

I can still see him playing ball at the family reunion, and we sure all have fond memories . He was one in a million I truly loved you!

Dave was a kind person who will be missed. When we rented a condo from him, he always showed up at our door with a beautiful poinsettia at Christmas. Our thoughts and prayers to the whole Meisterheim family.

Your Dad was my oldest boyfriend. When I was a tiny girl, I would sit on his lap and beg him to wait for me until I grew up. He promised he would but then your Mom came along and well, he broke my heart. His passing brings back great fun on the beach at Lake Michigan, watching him and my Dad bowl in multiple leagues, and having picnics. He knew my Mom and Dad before they got married. My Mom worked in his cafe in the Michigan bank building. Dad would come in for lunch. And then there was the Bent Fork cafe. I remember going there to help set up and he would make me a malt. And finally, when Tom and I married, he gave us a coupon so we could pick up food for our honeymoom from his chicken restaurant. I can't remember the name of it now. One of my dearest memories was when my Dad was passing in the hospital, your Dad came and baptised him. He always showed devotion and love to my family and everyone he knew. I haven't seen him since my sister passed but there he was like the Knight I use to think he was when I was just a kid. God bless you all. Jill

I am so sorry for your loss! I will unfortunately be out of town this week and will miss the funeral. Dave Meisterheim (Mr. Meisterheim to me) was a VERY GOOD man, and he will be missed dearly! I will always remember that every time he would see me he would say Laa-BRECK! His good nature and kind gentle demeanor will be missed by all!

Dave, was my Father in Law, for 3 1/2 yrs, before his much loved son, Mark,
passed away. In my heart, he continued to be my Father in Law....he was my moral compass...:and always had a big bear hug ready for me.
He was loved by many and I am sure, left and indelible mark on many hearts!
Say Hello to Marky for me.
