Tribute & Message From The Family

Peggy Ann Michael, age 66, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, July 2, 2019 at the Glenn Arbor Hospice Residence. She was born in Battle Creek on October 23, 1952, the loving daughter of Floyd R. and Evelyn R. (Craw) Palmer and graduated from Harper Creek High School with the Class of 1970. Peggy worked for many years at Nottke's Bowling Alley and retired from Sam's Club.

Peggy married the "Love of Her Life", Jeffrey Paul Michael on December 1, 1973; he sadly preceded her in death on June 29, 1989. She is survived by her children, Brian (Melissa) Michael and Janie (Jim) Rogers, both of Battle Creek; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren & two on the way; a brother, Lucky (Marie) Palmer; and a sister, Rosie Morduff. Peggy was also preceded in death by her parents.

Peggy was a member of the Central Christian Church, Battle Creek. An avid Detroit Tigers fan, she also enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, boating and anything outdoors, but she truly loved spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., Monday, July 8th at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Augusta Chapel, 307 N.
