Thank you fro this reminder and for including that fine photo of her face.
I have a yahrzeit candle burning now for my dad, who died on my birthday. I was thinking not only what a warm relationship he and I had but what a caring son he was to my bubbe, Yiddih for grandmother.
Now I am thinking so gratefully that Betty and I shared the love of art and I so enjoyed the imaginative handmade clay work she produced. We never discussed our religions and felt comfortable with one another.
Would that that kind of comfort existed among humanity in today's world.
God bless you and keep your well.

Dear family of Betty,
I send my condolences on your loss.
The image of Betty's clay work of the princess in the high tower letting her long hair down for her prince to climb up to her is still vivid for me.
My memory holds on tightly this sweetly sensitive and gentle woman.
