I did not know him personally but I know his daughter, Pat, who is married to my brother,Mark. He left behind a beautiful and godly daughter. May the peace of God be with all the ones left behind.

It is with great sadness in hearing of the passing of Wes.
I have had the Sonicksen Family in my life for over 57 years. I have been able to return to the house in Battle Creek a few times, and each time it was like I have never left. The last time being there just a couple of years ago with my parents, and with now my new wife Anne(with an "E")
Wes will sadly be missed by all who knew him. Family, Friends, and the Church Community, knew him as pillar in all aspects in the above mentioned areas.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, Anne and I will be unable to attend this important event in Celebrating the Life of this great example of a man with the entire Sonicksen family.
Ann, Dianne, And Pat, know that all your Families are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of of sadness here on earth, but good news in the fact that Wes is now with the Lord.
"For The Lord God Has Prepared A place In Heaven For All Those Who Believe", And Wesley Charles "Wes" Sonicksen Was A Believer.
God Bless, Amen

I have had the prevailage of knowing this family for 57 years, and have returned to visit them a few times. The last time, a couple of years ago with my parents, and my new wife Anne(with an "E"), it was like old times. Every time I returned to their house, it was like I never left Battle Creek. There are so many memories.
Wes will be sadly missed by so many people, for he was a pillar to so many things including: Family, Friends, and the Church.
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, Anne and I send our condolences to the entire Sonicksen Family, for we will be unable to attend this important event in celebrating the Life of this Great Man with his Family.
Ann, Dianne, and Pat, our thoughts and prayers are in our minds and words, as we pray for all the Sonicksen's Family at this time.
May God Be With You, and Your Families.
"For The Lord Has Prepared A Special Place For Wesley, In The Kingdom of Heaven".
Amen

We are Canadians from Trenton, Ontario Canada and have had the pleasure of being very good friends of Ann and Wes and family. We lived across the road from them for 4 years and continued our friendship throughout the years visiting back and forth between our two countries. We have many fond memories of our visits, card games, meals together and other activities. We had lots of laughs together. Our last visit to Battle Creek two years ago, we had a tour of your church which we used to attend while living there.
It is with great sadness we are passing on our condolences to the family. Wishing we could be in attendance there but due to illness that is not possible. Wes was a wonderful man and will be missed by our entire family.
Sending our love, thoughts and prayers.
Don, Sharon and family.

Dear Ann, Diane, Pat,
Reg, Hailey and I were saddened to hear about Wes's passing. He was such a wonderful man. Always a smile on his face when ever we were together. Our families have such a strong bond. Since thanksgiving 1962 I have been blessed to have Wes and you all in my life. Hailey and Wes were birthday buddies. We wish we could be there in person to comfort you but please know you are in our thoughts and prayers everyday.
Love Tam, Reg and Hailey
