Condolence & Memory Journal

My Sister, God looked around his garden and found an empty place
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your tired face
He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest
With the help of his angels they flew you to your heavenly place
May you Rest in eternal peace

I am so fortunate to have been a part of this family for such a long time. Camping trips, boat races, dinners in the basement of the Renigers and I was born on "Uncle Ray and Aunt Ellas' anniversary". I got to go on my first hunting trip in Wyoming with them and experience something I'll never forget. Dehorning the cattle on the Reed's ranch. So many good memories. Aunt Ella always "hunted" with her camera. I'm glad that I was able to visit Aunt Ella while I was home in December and enjoyed talking with her. All these experiences included Uncle Ray and Aunt Ella , Uncle Ray and Aunt Helen Mason and my parents Reggie and June Slocum. They taught us how to play various card games with Grandma D. This group were as close as any family could be. May God Bless her and all of her family. Her last words to me were "I love you a bushel and a peck". None could be better for me.

My wife Chris Young Phillip's. Grew up down the street and dearly loved seeing and talking with Mrs Reniger while walking to Post School and South Eastern. A truly delightful kind lady who will be missed.
