Even though I am not her biological daughter she always treated me as such. She would tell people, this is my other daughter. We talked on the phone every week and I visited whenever I could. Before she became ill she loved to come and visit me and my husband (while he was alive) in Texas. She always called him her boyfriend. We got a big laugh out of that. When I would visit her we would go to the casino and just sit and talk about everything. She was a stern disciplinarian growing up, but it was done with love and to teach us how to live the right way. How to treat others and how to be respectful. I will miss her very, very much. Already want to pick up the phone and call to tell her how I am feeling.
