Condolence & Memory Journal

I remember being in awe of Bills book collection. Back before google I had shared the wonderful memory of my 5 th grade teacher reading the book The Long walk to me an how much I loved it and wish a could locate a copy. I don't know how or where but Bill located next a copy which I treasure today. Much Love to Aunt Patsy , Bills children , My cousins and all combined grandchildren! I used to work at Buckley Community School yrs. back that is when I first met Mr. Strickland. Then I work on the Election board for Buckley School. When he came in to vote, he would always bring us ladies fresh baked cookies. He was such a kind man and he always smiled. That was such a great memory. Sorry for your loss, Barb Davison

I remember lots of good times playing cards - usually being his partner in cards (you didn't want to be on the other team)- Bid Euchre was the best, or Pinochle. We still have the card table we used to play on. It was an honor, privilege, and a lot of fun. I pray now he is in heaven with our Lord, and maybe someday we'll get to play cards together again. With his son Todd too.
