Condolence & Memory Journal

SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LOSS OF LORENA ANN. I AM A NEPHEW OF LORENA ANN AND THE SON OF THE LATE ELEANOR ANDREWS. ELEANOR WAS ONE OF HER OLDER SISTERS AND WAS VERY FOND OF HER BABY SISTER LORENA ANN. I KNEW HER AS AUNT "ANN". MY LAST MEMORY OF ANN WAS WHEN SHE WAS ABLE TO ATTEND ELEANOR'S 100TH BIRTHDAY AT GEORGETOWNE PLACE ASSISTED LIVING IN FORT WAYNE, INDIANA IN 2019. SHE WAS VERY PLEASANT AS ALWAYS AND ELEANOR WAS SO GLAD TO SEE HER.

Sherry and family,

I'm so sorry to see the passing of your mother. Your father sang in my wedding back in 1987, what a beautiful voice. Your mother was always so nice to my family. Together again....may she RIP

As I sit here reminiscing about all the special memories I have of Grandma Mell and trying to decide what to write, I am finding it quite an impossible task. There are simply way too many cherished moments. What I can say is that she always made me feel loved whether it was through a simple, loving gesture of running her fingers up and down my arm or something more grand like taking the time to bake a lemon meringue pie with me and showing me how to achieve the perfect peaks. Although our family gatherings were filled with so many people, she always had plenty of love to spread around to all of us. My grandma may be gone from this Earth, but her spirit and memory lives on forever in my heart.
