Alfreeda D. Cross, age 80, formerly of Battle Creek passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022. She was born December 5, 1941, the daughter of Alfred and Inez (Ingould) Cross and attended Battle Creek Central High School. Alfreeda worked at several area restaurants and truly enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Alfreeda is survived by her children, Dianna Warner of Arizona, Tonya Kruso of Romulus, James (Julie) Logan of Wisconsin, Danielle (Jim) Hawthorne of Battle Creek and Tera Cook of Battle Creek; twelve grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight brothers & sisters.
The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 26th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where services to celebrate her life will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 27th. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorials may directed to the charity of your choice.
