Arnim L. Fox, Jr. passed away on December 6, 2017 at Bronson Battle Creek. Arnie was born in Dayton, TN on April 25, 1932 the son of Arnim L. (Curly) Fox, Sr. and Geneva (Mc Ghee) Fox. He came to Michigan at age 10 and was raised in the Athens/East Leroy area by his mother and step-father, Carl Gross. He graduated from Athens High School, the class of 1950. He joined the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was employed by the Kellogg Company for 38 years, retiring in 1988.

He played sports in school and continued to play baseball in his younger years, playing on Kellogg Company teams and many other area teams. He also bowled on several leagues throughout the years.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and kept a boat, the 'Br'er Fox' out of South Haven for several years.
After retirement, Arnie began his second career, doing fish taxidermy. He became quite well known in the area for his fish mounts and also his ice fishing poles, especially the "buggy whips".

He had married to Arda Jacobs and Anita Miller. Both marriages ended in divorce. He married Bernadine (Betty) Stevenson in1979 and she survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Deborah (Randy) Erskine and two step-daughters, Tiffani R. Stevenson and Andrea B. (Todd) Paul and five grandchildren, Tarah (John) Walsh, Tyler Lepper, T.J. and Chloe Paul and Max Solis and a great-grandson, Tucker Walsh.

Visitation will be held 4:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 105 Capital Ave. NE, Battle Creek, MI. Private family committal service will be held on Wednesday.
