Austin Leroy Crawford, age 18, of Marshall went to be with the Lord on December 4, 2020. He will be missed by all of his family and friends. He was born at Oak Lawn Hospital in Marshall, Michigan on December 20, 2001, the son of Misty Crawford and Brandon Burge.
Austin was preceded in death by his dad, Brandon Burge; his uncle, Billy Burge; and his great-grandmothers, Shirley Bechtol and Lillie Pierce. He is survived by his mother, Misty Crawford; step-father, Jordan Smith; his grandmothers, Shirley Crawford and Barbara Donovan; brothers, Jimmy Smith, Jordan Smith Jr. and Michael Wood; great-grandfathers, Leroy Bechtol and Richard (Cheryl) Pierce; uncles, David Bechtol and Paul Bechtol; aunt, Linda Stevens; his cousin, Crystal Pierce; and his girlfriend & first love, Kelly Sanchez.
Austin was very kind and considerate to everyone he met and will be missed and remain in our hearts forever. Austin had the biggest heart I've ever known. He would shave his head to make a hat to keep you warm or…… y'all know how it was.
A memorial visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, December 14, 2020 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family c/o Austin's grandmother, Shirley Crawford.
