Bobby Joe Welcher, age 56, of Battle Creek passed away Tuesday evening, December 7, 2021. He was born in Battle Creek on July 27, 1965, the son of Harold and Shirley (Case) Welcher. Bobby worked at Robert's Packaging and the Battle Creek Enquirer News. He also enjoyed doing side jobs like siding and roofing before he became disabled. Bobby also enjoyed playing pool, playing cards, fishing and watching football.

Bobby is survived by his son, Keith (Nicole) Welcher; his mom, Shirley Welcher; his granddaughters whom he loved dearly, Isabella & Nevaeh Welcher; his girlfriend, Ruth Wines; his brothers, Tim (Sandy) & Gary Welcher; his sisters, Vickie (Tony) Barkley and Cheryl Gay; nephews, Shawn Barkley, Chuckie O'Keefe, and Thomas Wise; and nieces, Torresa Jackson-Mendez, Crystal Welcher, Payton Willitts, and Kori Jackson Mendez. He was sadly preceded in death by his daughters, Krystal Martens and Stephanie Welcher; his father, Harold Welcher; Josh O'Keefe; and his children's mother, Audrey Martens.

At Bobby's request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek. Personal messages for the family may be placed at
