Carolyn Patricia (Parker) Frantz, age 64, sadly passed away at Bronson Methodist Hospital after complications from Cardiac Arrest on Thursday, May 14, 2020. She was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on December 24, 1955 to Henry and Beulah Parker and stayed a life-long resident. She graduated from Lakeview High School in 1974 and went on to further her education obtaining an Associate's Degree Sigma Cum Laude from Kellogg Community College, and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University.

Carolyn celebrated her life by enjoying her relationships with family and friends and loved those relationships dearly. She loved to travel and also enjoyed the arts, the outdoors, gardening and landscaping. She loved the hawk that would fly over her backyard, and the cardinal that would sing to her in the morning and her deep faith in God. Her Faith in God was her refuge.

Carolyn was extremely proud to be a military wife. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard; sisters, Anna Sue (Doug) Weese of Lansing, MI, Linda Parker of Kalamazoo, MI, Kathy (Robert) Whitman of Battle Creek, MI; brothers and sisters-in-law, Diane (Ed) Hyde, Don (Alice) Frantz, Melanie (Ron) Ryska, Amanda (Pete) Kosky; Andy (Shelly) Frantz; stepdaughter, Rebecca (Richard) Jarvis of Oregon; special brother, Jim Zoss of Battle Creek, MI; all her very special grand and great-grandchildren and Godchildren; her many very special nephews and nieces; and all her very special friends including those in Wisconsin, and Iowa; friends in Alaska; and her loving dogs over the years Utah, Jenny and Gabriel. Sadly, Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Beulah (Daniel) Parker, sister ,Wanda (John) Monarch; in-laws, Richard and Ann Frantz, stepchildren, Richard and Katherine; nephews, Michael Ramos and Thomas Grainger; and special friend Kyle Lindsey.

Due to the recent government regulations, a live-stream Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 21, 2020. Those wishing to view the service may visit and "Like" the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care Facebook page or view the service at the following link: https://vimeo.com/419341000. A public gathering will also be held later in the year when it is safe to gather again. Instead of flowers that will be here for only a short time, please plant something that will blossom and raise up its blossoms to heaven and smile in her honor. If you feel the need to donate a memorial contribution, please donate in her name to your church or to an organization that will benefit man or animal.

Her husband and sisters would like to extend their sincere "Thank You" to everyone she knew for making her life so special. God Bless You All. Personal messages for the family and/or favorite memories of Carolyn may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
