Claudine Ploehn, age 94, of Battle Creek, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at her home with her family by her side. Claudine was born September 1, 1927 in Monterey, TN to Claude and Clara (Buckner) Jones. She graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1945 and worked for the Kellogg Company for five years. She then worked for Michigan National Bank for 32 years, retiring in 1982.

Claudine is survived by her three children, Mrs. Paula (Jack) Hunn, Leisa (Steve) Cracolici and Kurtis (Deb) Ploehn; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Claudine married Arthur Ploehn on December 30, 1950 in Angola, IN. He sadly preceded her in death in 1977. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mabeline Mignery and two brothers, Paul T. Jones and Carl R. Jones.

Cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass to celebrate Claudine's life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday May 6, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with a Rosary Service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.
