Debra Anne (Maino) "Debbie" Bradley of Augusta, MI

Debbie, age 53, died tragically Tuesday evening, June 7, 2016 from injuries sustained during a bicycle run with "The Chain Gang" on N. Westnedge Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI.

Debbie, the daughter of Thomas W. and Judy K. (Moore) Maino, was born on October 25, 1962 in Jackson, MI; was a 1980 graduate of Jackson Lumen Christi High School; received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Michigan University and an Assoicate Degree in Nursing from Ferris State University. She was a Registered Nurse for 30 years, which included Gull Lake Community School Nurse, but her passion was Neo-Natal Care. Debbie was a bike enthusiast and was an active member of the "The Chain Gang" having ridden the Michigan roadways. She was a member at St. Ann Catholic Church of Augusta and the Sherman Lake YMCA. Debbie was an avid runner, attended art fairs loved live musicand theater, sports, losing her phone, collecting unique jewelry, loved wine, beans of all varieties, healthy living and eating, supporting FIRE UP CHIPS and GO STATE and calico cats.

Debbie was united in marriage to Thomas R. Bradley in Michigan Center, MI on October 27, 1990. Surviving is her husband of 26 years, Tom; her daughter, Madeline A. "Madi" Bradley, a 2016 graduate of Gull Lake High School; her son, Colton T. "Cole" Bradley, a junior at Central Michigan University; her father, Tom Maino of Michigan Center, MI; two sisters, Catherine M. Maino of Charlottesville, VA and Christina R. (Richard) Cook of Jackson, MI; her brother, Thomas D. (Cecile) Maino of Las Vegas, NV and numerous nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her mom, Judy in 2006.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 14th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church, 12648 East D Avenue, Augusta with Father James F. Adams, Celebrant and Deacon Michael A. Carl Assisting. Family and friends will continue Debbie's life celebration with a time of fellowship and a luncheon immediately following the Mass in the Church Social Hall. Debbie's family will greet friends on Monday, June 13th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Richland Chapel, 9170 East D Avenue (M-89) where the Parish Rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Final interment will be in Day Cemetery, Ross Township, later this summer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Debbie's honor may be directed to Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center, 6225 North 39th Street, Augusta, MI 49012 or the Gull Lake Community Schools Foundation, 11775 East D Avenue, Richland, MI 49083.

For a life so short there could not have been a larger spirit who lived. Debbie Maino Bradley essence was beyond spirit. Compassionate, loyal, fierce, passionate, giving, lively and infectious smile is unparalleled. All who knew her were touched by her essence. Her love ran strong for her family, friends, community, Gull Lake Schools, faith and the Sherman Lake YMCA.

For those who would not speak, Debbie would speak in their stead. She took no hesitance to defend those who would not or could not take a stand. Debbie, a defender and protector...the core character defining her. Not just for those she loved and who love her but for those who were blessed to cross her path.
The attribute of courage is assigned to some but earned by few. Debbie's courage began as a whisper, built as a statement and evolving if necessary as action!
Her devotion to anything or anyone she cared about was unwavering. Most of all to her husband Tom and her children Colton and Madi. There was never a time that she was not in the stands, walking the halls or in her vehicle carrying the kids from here to there. Outside of the fashionable and vibrant style that she adorned, she would always be seen in Gull Lake or Central Michigan clothing. Her devotion influencing her deeds to her apparel.

If anyone is in wonder of the influence Debbie had on not just her world but that all around her, search "Debbie Maino Bradley on Facebook. The outpouring of love, sadness, thankfulness and expression of friendship is beyond measure. We would all feel blessed to have the impact she obtained and truly sets an example for us all to strive and achieve. "
