Dennis Earl Clayman, age 61, of Battle Creek passed away Sunday morning, September 26, 2021 at Bronson Battle Creek.

Dennis was born November 3, 1959 in Battle Creek to Arthur E. and LuAlice M. (Smith) Clayman. He retired from II Stanley in April 2018 after more than 30 years of service.

Dennis married Debra D. "Deb" Hagan in Battle Creek on October 29, 2004; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Sunny Morrison of Battle Creek, Alysa (Eric) Hill of California and Jason (Marilyn) Brown of Washington; six granddaughters; one great-grandson; a brother, Darrell (Crissy) Clayman of Indiana; and several aunts, uncles & cousins. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and his favorite dog, "Cody Duke".

Dennis played several sports during high school, enjoyed watching all sports, and has also bowled, played men's softball, and played pool for many years. He was truly an avid fisherman and also enjoyed waterskiing, tubing, driving his go-kart, and watching old westerns.

Friends will be received 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek. Funeral services to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Battle Creek Friends Church, 1305 Olive Street, Battle Creek. Interment will follow at Reese Cemetery in Springfield. Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association and/or the American Heart Association.
