Harold Lee Collier, age 82, of Battle Creek passed away June 2, 2019 at the Calhoun County Medical Care Facility. He was born in Lincoln, Illinois on February 17, 1937 and was the son of Harold Collier and his wife Lois and Velma Mead and her husband Ken. He spent most of his life in the Battle Creek area with frequent trips to "farm country" throughout his life.

Harold had a long career as an auto technician at Ford dealerships in the area. He also enjoyed teaching auto mechanics at Kellogg Community College, repairing medical equipment, and assembling motorcycles for a local dealership. Harold enjoyed hunting and touring on his motorcycle with his wife. He was a lifetime National Rifle Association member, a member of the Sportsman's Club of Battle Creek and a founding member of Centerline of Calhoun County.

Harold married Sandra Osborn on November 4, 1956; she survives. He also leaves behind two children, Deborah (Jeff) Greger and Michael Collier; 5 grandchildren, Nicholas (Nikke) Greger , Kimberly (Brice) Chaffin, Andrew (Laura) Greger, Amanda (Justin) Coffee, and Samantha (Coty) Eberhard; as well as 13 great-grandchildren; and 3 brothers, Ron (Pauline) Collier, Larry (Linda) Collier and Gerald (Lee Ellen) Collier. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, much loved step-parents, and brother, Dean (Susan) Collier.

We thank the staff at Marian E. Burch Adult Day Care and Calhoun County Medical Care Facility for their kind and outstanding care. There will be no formal services.
