Harold Thomas "Robbie" Robbins of Fine Lake (Battle Creek), MI

Robbie, age 77, died peacefully Friday morning, October 20, 2017 at Kairos Dwelling, Kalamazoo, MI, with his loving family at his side.

Robbie, the son of Robert and Marion (Sowles) Robbins, was born in Battle Creek on May 5, 1940; was a lifetime area resident and a 1958 graduate of Marshall High School. He retired in 1996 after 36 years of faithful service with Plant Protection and Warehouse for the Kellogg Company. He and his wife, Dianna, enjoyed traveling in their 5th wheel throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as trips to Germany, Mexico and the Caribbean Islands. When he wasn't traveling, Robbie enjoyed family gatherings, fishing, woodworking and working in his yard.

Robbie married Bonnie Jenkins in 1959, which ended in divorce. He is survived by three children, Ron (Maria) Robbins of Brown Mills, NJ, Chris (Julie) Robbins of Glenwood, IA and Cathy Hoffman of Battle Creek. He married Dianna (Taylor) Anglin in 1978 and she survives in addition to his two step children, Angela (Anglin) (Steve) Wesseling of Paw Paw, MI and Andrew Anglin of Richland, MI along with thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Robbie's brother, Skip (Elaine) Robbins of Battle Creek, also survives.

The Memorial Service to celebrate Robbie's life will be held on Wednesday, October 25th at 11:30 a.m. at the Pleasantview Family Church, 2601 Lacey Road, Dowling, MI 49050, with Rev. Steven S. Olmstead, officiating. Robbie's family will greet friends on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time in the Church. Immediately following the Service, family and friends will continue Robbie's life celebration with a time of fellowship and a luncheon in the Church Fellowship Hall. Private, family interment will be held in Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens, Battle Creek. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robbie's honor may be directed to Kairos Dwelling; Pleasantview Family Church or the American Cancer Society.
