Jack DeVon Spindler, Jr., age 50, of Battle Creek and formerly of Tampa, Florida passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, February 11, 2018 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born in Elkhart, Indiana on September 5, 1967, the son of Jack D. and Darlene S. (Presswood) Spindler., Sr.. Jack worked for many years as a tile setter, most recently with Battle Creek Tile & Mosaic.

Jack married Bonnie S. Spindle in Tampa, Florida on April 15, 1998; she survives. He is also survived by his children, Michele (Shain) Eblen, Traci Spindler, and Pamela (Timothy) Barrick; his grandchildren, Nathan, Shain, Devin, Katelyn, Jesse, Abbiegayle, Aleigha, and Addelynn; his brother, Ray (Chris); and his sisters, Connie & Darla. Jack was sadly preceded in death by his parents, and a son, U.S. Army Private II., Randy Stabnik on February 15, 2009.

Jack enjoyed canoeing and kayaking. But most of all, Jack enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, whether it be watching movies or just being together.

The family will receive friends 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 17th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where services to celebrate Jack's life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday.
