Jane F. Klein-Shelven, 90, lifelong resident of Battle Creek, died February 15, 2022. Jane was born November 7, 1931 in Battle Creek to William and Marie (Kessler) Scanlan. Jane was the owner/operator of Klein Gun Club and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. After she sold the gun club, Jane was a caretaker for several years.
Jane is survived by her four sons, Gary Klein, Kelley Klein, Michael Klein and Jacob Klein; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Jane was preceded in death by her two husbands, Robert Klein and Glen Shelven and a son, Thomas Klein.
A Funeral Mass to celebrate Jane's life will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass, starting at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church. Arrangements by the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
