Jerry Gipson, 58, of Battle Creek died unexpectedly Saturday November 17, 2018. He was born on December 21, 1959 in Salyersville, Kentucky, the son of Squire Gipson and Fannie Emmons (Cole). He lived in Kentucky and Ohio until he moved to Battle Creek in 1982.

He is survived by his daughter Jeri Diaz (Jason Jackson). Son-in-law Ramon Diaz of Boston, Ma. fifteen grand kids, one fur grand kid, eleven great grand kids with one on the way and one great fur grand kid and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Brother, Squire (Becky) Gibson of Battle Creek, sister Sarah (Darrell) Lawson of Florida, Missy Gipson, Patricia and Pamela Gibson of Ohio.

He was a mechanic. He loved working on vehicles for his family. He loved being the life of the party, spending time with his grand kids, and family. He liked fishing, drinking his Bud Light and smoking his Pall Malls. He loved traveling to spend time with family that was out of town. He loved whittling with his grandson Ramon and granddaughter Sarah Jane. He loved helping people fix things even if he had to rig them up. He was the master of rigger upper. He loved talking to women on POF.

He is preceded in death by his father Squire Gipson, Mother Fannie Emmons, Step father Floyd Emmons, Sister Sara Jane Powell, Daughters Crystal and April Gipson, Brothers Harrison and Harry Gipson and his girlfriend of many years Vicky Wright.
Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the family.
