Larry S. Judd, 89, of Battle Creek, died May 27, 2021. Larry was born August 20, 1931 in Battle Creek to Milo and Dorothy (Parks) Judd. Larry graduated from Battle Creek Central High School in 1949 and honorably served his country in the United States Navy.

Larry earned his M.B.A. from Western Michigan University, he worked 31 years for the General Foods Corporation, retired and then worked for Kellogg for another 13 years, retiring as the Director of Purchasing.


Larry married the former Jeanette Tuttle and the couple raised four children. They were married for 54 years before her passing in 2008. Larry is survived by their children, Laurie Ressler, Craig (Denise) Judd, Christopher (Christine) Judd and Stacey (James) Berlin; 12 grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, Megan, Nick, Emily, Alex, Joseph, Jake, Sarah, Katie, Ally and Tori; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Stevenson and a special friend, Jeri Otis. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette, and a sister, Martha K. Edwards.

Larry was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and enjoyed golfing and genealogy.

Friends will be received from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, where funeral services to celebrate Larry's life will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 2.
