Mary Elizabeth (Fisher) Gore of Richland, MI

Mary went into the presence of the Lord on Saturday, January 2, 2016, four weeks shy of her 102nd birthday at the Rose Arbor Hospice Residence, Kalamazoo, MI.

Mary was born in New Brighton, PA on February 4, 1914, the daughter of Alfred and Leva (McCoy) Fisher. On October 20, 1931, Mary was united in marriage to John C. Gore in Cumberland, Maryland. Mary liked Montana so well, she decided to live there for twenty three years. At age 87, Mary returned to Michigan to live with her daughter, Joan.

In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Joseph R. Fisher, a sister, Alberta (Fisher) McCullough; a daughter, Patricia, son-in-law Robert R. Poth, a granddaughter, Joan Marie, grandson-in-law, Dean Pomeroy, great-grandsons, Jimmy Dean and William. Mary leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, M. Joan Poth of Richland and Elizabeth (Norman) Underwood of Arlington, TX, a son. James A.
