Mary M. Willerick, age 69, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, April 8, 2019. She was born in Battle Creek on June 4, 1949, the daughter of Henry and Shirley (Taylor) Wilhelm and attended Battle Creek Public Schools. She worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Calhoun County Medical Care and also was employed at the Koyo Corporation. Family was everything to Mary, and her greatest joy was spending time with her Vic & Phil, and her precious animals, "Gyzmo" the dog and "Hercules" the cat.

Mary married the "Love of her Life", Vic Willerick in Battle Creek on November 24, 2004; he survives. She was sadly preceded in death by her beloved son, Philip Brian Edwards on August 22, 2017; her parents; Vic's parents, Earl & Florence Willerick; three sisters and a brother. Mary is also survived by her step-son, Chad (Kerry) Willerick; step-daughter, Cheryl Willerick; a niece, Brenda (Timmy) Mendez; and Vic's sister, Sandy (Mike) Cornish.

The family will receive friends 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Tuesday, April 16th at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek where a memorial service to celebrate Mary's life will be held at 12:00 noon with Certified Celebrant, Jonathon Barnes, officiating.
