Mitch LaFountain, Age 41 of Battle Creek, MI passed away on May 20, 2022. He was born on July 15, 1980 to his parents, David LaFountain and Jean Sinkler in Allegan, MI.
Mitch just loved life. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping, working on cars, cooking, playing with his dog, Beau, and most of all "Talking Smack" to everyone (all in good fun). He enjoyed having a few drinks with his buddies and being around the people he loved.
Even though he was late to every party and was known for being on "Mitch Time", he was always the life of the party. He was loved by many and left a permanent imprint on the lives he touched. Mitch will be forever missed and always in our hearts.
Mitch is survived by his loving parents, Tim and Jean Sinkler; his girlfriend, Blake Green; his sons, Izaack, Brayden, and Brody LaFountain; his daughter, Jazzmin LaFountain; his brothers, Rowdy Sinkler, Cody (Miranda) Sinkler, Josh (Michelle) Smith and Jeremy (Victoria) Garcia; two sisters, Traci (Christopher) Sinkler and Kristy (Brian) Mead; many nieces and nephews and countless friends. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents, George and Emilia Gillet; his grandparents, Carolyn (Ron) Keech and Owen LaFountain, Edith Schmidt and his niece, Kasey Bowen.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 27, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care where a funeral service to celebrate Mitch's life will be on Saturday, May 28, 2022 starting at 1:00 p.m. Personal messages for the family or favorite memories may be placed at www.farleyestesdowdle.com.
