Heart Emblem

Patricia Ann "Pat" Stiff, age 73, of Battle Creek sadly passed away at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo on Wednesday morning, March 25, 2020. She was born in Battle Creek on March 14, 1947, the loving daughter of Francis W. and Elizabeth A. (LaForge) Lacey. Pat graduated from Bellevue High School with the Class of 1965 and furthered her education at Davenport University and Kellogg Community College. She worked for many years at Leila Hospital and Battle Creek Health Systems and was currently an Aesthetician at Aesthetics for Your Well Being in Richland.

Pat is survived by her beloved husband, John M. Stiff Sr., of Battle Creek; her children, Kathleen Marquette of Arizona, Randy (Robin) Emerson of Battle Creek, and Sean Emerson of Oregon; her grandchildren, Sean Jr., Jesse, Anna, Randy Lee, Ashley, Kristin, and Nick; two great-grandchildren, Easton and Aeiden; her sister, Catherine (Thomas) Constantine of Ceresco; a special niece, Roz (David) Reed; and several other nieces & nephews.

Pat and John served for more than five years as car-hosts on the Pere Marquette 1225 with the Steam Railroad Institute. She was also a longtime member & past-president of the Cereal City Lions Club in Battle Creek and also served as the District 11B-1 Chair of the Project KidSight. Pat enjoyed Wine & Paint nights, animals, and keeping in touch with her friends through Facebook, but her greatest passions in life were Project KidSight and spending time with her family.

Due to the recent Government Regulations and the large number of people who knew and loved Pat, a private family service has been held and a public celebration of Pat's life will be held at a later date. Please omit flowers and in lieu of flowers, please consider making donations to the Cereal City Lions Club. Arrangements by Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care, Battle Creek.
