Ron Denardo's life recently came to an end on May 11, 2019. Ron was 68 years old and a husband, father, and grandfather.

Ron will be remembered for his service to Special Olympics. For the last 15 years he served as head coach for Kalamazoo's Powerlifting team. While volunteering, he had the opportunity to take two of his athletes to Puerto Rico for a competition and to see his son, Mark, compete at the national level in Seattle. For many years he volunteered as Area 16 Public Relations, editor of their newsletter and chaperoned at many state competitions.

Ron also gave much of his time to interpreting Italian vital records into English so people all over the world could discover their heritage.
