Ruth Ann "Ruthann" Dailey 79, of Battle Creek passed away at home, surrounded by her family. She entered this world on March 29, 1941 and the Lord called her home on her birthday, March 29, 2020. She was born to Leaondues and Mable (Williams) Millsap in Battle Creek.

Ruth attended Battle Creek Central High School. She met the love of her life Earl Dailey, when she was 16. They were married 3 years later and went on to raise five children.

Ruth's hobbies were many, but to name some of them, singing, dancing, playing guitars of many varieties and picking banjo. In her earlier years she and Earl would take road trips on their motorcycles with other couples.

The family camped all over Michigan every summer. Ruth dabbled in more hobbies like cake decorating, crocheting and sewing. She greatly enjoyed birthday and Christmas get togethers, with the family and getting together to sing Karaoke in her home-made studio in their garage.

Ruth who was referred to as Ruthann by many and had many jobs that she loved throughout her life, babysitting as a teenager, working as a waitress at Woolworths, working in the canteen at Kellogg's, and selling Artex, Avon and Amway.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant sister Janet. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Earl Dailey, and Sister Barbara Stevens. Also surviving are her two sons Darrel (Saglenda Fincher) Dailey, David (Kathy) Dailey; three daughters Tracy (Everett Howard) Card, Teresa (Steve) Rangel, Trina (John) Nichols; thirteen grandchildren; April Cockrill, Amara Dailey, Lindsey Boyd, Jennifer Dyer-Taft, Chazz Dailey, Tekisha Hale, Ricky Leins, Mariah Leins, Caitlyn Card, Jozlynn Redemsky, Matthew Rangel, Michael Rangel, Brooke Byers and Jacob Hanger and sixteen great grandchildren.

A private family funeral service is being planned with interment at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice Serving Southwest Michigan, 8075 Creekside Dr # 120, Portage, MI 49024
