Sharon (Carlson) Boudeman, 81, of Richland, Michigan passed away on June 10, 2021.

She was born on March 19, 1940, in Rockford, Illinois to Curtis and Katherine (Gerdausky) Carlson. In 1962, Sharon earned a bachelor's degree in education from Drake University. She was a member of the Chi Omega sorority and was a Little Sister of Minerva with the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.

Sharon was united in marriage to Sherwood Meier Boudeman on August 10, 1963. She is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years; children Carey Boudeman, Sherwood (Kate) Boudeman, Kappy Boudeman and Erin (Jeff) Flagg; grandchildren Sophie, Sam, Owen and Woody Tilbury and Genevieve, Blakeslee and Charlotte Boudeman; and sister Joan (Les) Molander.

Sharon was an exceptional cook and an avid reader who enjoyed participating in several book clubs. She also loved antiquing with her daughters and spending time with family and friends.

Per Sharon's wishes there will be no formal ceremony. Private services will be held for Sharon's family at Prairie Home Cemetery in Richland and on the family farm.
