On Wednesday, the 12th of September 2018, Sharon Lee Green, age 78, of Battle Creek, Michigan quietly went to be with our Lord Savior. Sharon was born April 17th of 1940 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to June and Henry Hallaxs. She attended Rogers High School in Grand Rapids, lived in California for a while, later moving to Battle Creek, Michigan. Sharon was blessed with three brothers, James, Steve and Scott. She married Warren Paxson May of 1958 and together they had a daughter Kimberly June Paxson. After 3 years they parted ways.

Sharon began working at Nottke's bowling alley where she met and fell in love with a young man. On November 28th of 1962 Sharon married that young man, Phillip Neil Green. Phillip came with a daughter, Cindy and a son, Jerry. Together Sharon and Phillip had two sons, Jeffrey and Gregory. Over the years Sharon drove a school bus six years for Bellevue Schools, worked for nineteen years at Felpausch Grocery in Pennfield and as a Secretary for a few years at Emmett Street Missionary Church, where she was a devout member for 42 years. She and Phillip also volunteered at the Capital Ave. Food Pantry for 20 Years.

Sharon's love for her Savior carried over into every aspect of her life. She was a kind and loving woman whose every day actions captured the very essence of what being a Christian woman is supposed to be. She was an inspiration to young and old. Sharon loved animals and would care for even the smallest of God's creatures. They became her companions. Sharon used to bowl and loved to garden. Her yard was full of bird feeders and she drew them in as if they knew they were sincerely appreciated. She had a great sense of humor that she passed on to her children. Being silly and laughing was a great way to pass the time for Sharon

Those who went to be with our Savior preceding Sharon were her Parents, June (April of 1995) and Henry (April of 2000), her brothers James E. Hallaxs and Scott A. Hallaxs. In August of 1984, Sharon's 15-month granddaughter, Jenny, joined our Lords garden of children. On November 16th of 2006 Sharon's beloved husband went ahead of her to be in the presence of our Savior.

Sharon is survived by her brother Steve E. Hallax (Bobbi); her daughter Kimberly June Stewart (Rob), her sons Jeffrey Allen Green (Tammie), Gregory Paul Green (Christie); Six grandchildren, Phillip Tyson (Lisa), Jeffrey Green, Coty Green (Ashley), Cory Green (Ally), Camieo Green and Taylor Green; and Five great grandchildren, Shain, Anastzia, Caeden, Decklan, Hailey and Jensen.
