Timothy Lee Worden, 71, died in the care of the hospice nursing staff at Battle Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center on Monday, August 24, 2018.

He was born July 18, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. Tim served his country proudly in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Aircraft Crewman Badge, Air Medal and Marksman Pistol .45. He was a homeless veteran. Tim deserves our respect for the complications serving his country bravely, caused him in life.

There are no known survivors.

Services for Tim will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, where military honors will be bestowed by Ft. Custer Honor Guard 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
