Music Emblem

Tyler Francis Davis, 32, of Battle Creek entered into the afterlife of which he sang on May 21, 2021. He lived his life an adventurous free-thinker who walked off worry, embracing each day as a gift to be experienced. For Tyler, life was a journey to be enjoyed and he trusted the process that led him.

He graduated from Lakeview High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Western Michigan University. An artist in many forms, he leaves us a treasure of lyrics, poems, writings, recorded songs and videos that express his passions in this life. In addition to his love for music, Tyler enjoyed drawing, writing, composing, poetry, disc golf, exploring and walking barefoot everywhere.

Tyler was happiest when he was with his eternal Soul Mate, Kaci Sparks, who survives, along with their four-legged companion, Chief. Also surviving are his parents, Mary Buckingham of Battle Creek, Paul J. (Meridith Johnson) Davis of Massachusetts; and paternal grandparents, Paul and Frances Jean Davis and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tyler was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Francis "Red' and Theresa (Sittig) Buckingham and a cousin, Baby Charles Lilly.

Friends will be received 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Farley Estes Dowdle Funeral Home & Cremation Care. A service to celebrate Tyler's life and spirit will be held at 4539 Wayne Road 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 27, 2021. Committal and interment will follow at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
